Technical Behavioral

The interview was very informal, held in a small room with scattered Ikea furniture, visible wall damage, and chairs that smelled of urine. Upon arrival, I had to ask where to sit because I couldn't find a clean spot. The interviewer was good and respectable. They liked my answers to questions about gamma and ROP, so I was essentially hired on the spot. There was no background check or drug test, which means you'll be working with people who use drugs and have criminal records.

First, I had a phone call with HR where they asked some basic questions about salary, visa status, and start date, and also about the team environment. Then, there was a HackerRank test. After that, I had a phone interview with the manager and the team that lasted over two hours, focusing on experience-related questions. Finally, I got a call from HR saying I wasn't selected because they've moved on to another candidate.

So the interview was basically about whether I was comfortable working in shifts. The whole selection process was based on a written test which had 4 sections: 1 aptitude, 2 technical, 3 ms office, and 4 hr questions. The exam was out of 100 marks, and the cutoff for the interview was 50. The technical part was totally based on drilling and mainly on directional drilling. After that, there was a background check.
