Sales Supervisor
I found the job on Indeed and applied. The recruiter emailed me quickly to set up a phone chat for the next week. But then I got a Teams meeting invite instead. I still accepted and showed up on time, dressed well just in case. But nobody ever showed up for the meeting. I waited 15 minutes, thinking maybe they were in another interview. Still nothing. So I emailed the recruiter, saying I was bummed and thinking about pulling my application because this seemed super unprofessional. Then it got weird. They replied saying they'd actually canceled the Teams meeting like 5 minutes after sending it because it was a mistake. So that also canceled our phone interview. They said both the hiring manager and I were notified, but I checked my emails and saw no such notification. They claimed the hiring manager knew the phone interview was canceled by mistake. But neither the recruiter nor the hiring manager tried to reach out to reschedule or just call me like they first said they would. They did say sorry in the email, but they didn't try to reschedule at all or keep me interested. They just ended with a casual 'good luck'. I emailed back again, saying I was disappointed they didn't communicate better. I said if they knew about the mistake, they should've contacted me instead of letting me join a meeting they weren't going to show up for. I told them I wasn't interested anymore, saying first impressions matter and they really messed up. They never emailed me back after that, which proved my point.

Customer Service Specialist
I had a phone screen, then a pretty intense in-person interview with a few supervisors and the department manager. It felt like a lot for a $14/hr customer service gig, especially since the company deals with a lot of cancellations and sometimes just one-on-one with new activations.
- What are your career aspirations?
Senior Software Developer
Horrible experience because the interviewer asked theory questions that I didn't have readily available, and used Teams. Phone interviews are easier if they don't require using a camera.
- Do you know what SOLID is?
Technical Support
I had a phone interview and then a 30-minute video interview with the team. A few days later, I got an offer. They also required a background check and drug screening within a week.
