First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mobile Styles.
Social Media Specialist
So, I went through two tests and then had two interviews. My recruiter, Emile, was really great – super professional and nice. I actually wished I could work with him at my next company. The first two stages were really good experiences. But, for the last interview with Ally, the CEO, she seemed totally uninterested. She was impolite and changed the salary, schedule, and what the job actually involved from what we initially discussed. It was disappointing because I had been a good employee there before and was really excited about this role. I even sent in an extra assignment, but they didn't pick me. I felt like Ally's last-minute changes were pretty disrespectful. I was super keen on the job, but I know I deserve a better opportunity!
- Why do you think you're a good fit for our company?
- What's your process for ensuring grammatical accuracy?
Copywriter
This interview process was a disaster with so many red flags. They used bizarre personality tests, which I think is only for people who don't have personalities. For a writing job, they asked really hard math questions. It was super disorganized; I never got confirmation after my job offer and they weren't expecting me on my first day. The NDA they made me sign had incorrect info. They insisted on an in-person interview even during COVID. I heard from someone else that the CEO makes employees write good reviews, and honestly, that sounds about right.
- Complete difficult math problems and submit them within 30 minutes.
Licensed Cosmetologist
It was super easy, just a phone call and they gave me a lot of good info. They told me how to set my prices and get ready for clients, like how far I could travel, adding gas money to the service cost, how to be awesome and visible on the app, and how to find and talk to potential clients.
- Tell me about your experience.
- Can I see your social media?
- What's your specific area in the market?
On-boarding Agent
Had a group interview with 3 other candidates. The whole process and staff was very disorganized the office was very dirty. Assured me and other candidates that they will contact us regarding a decision they made if we are qualified for the second interview with CEO as soon as their CEO comes back from business trip. Never heard from them back no follow up email!
- Can you introduce yourself and discuss your previous customer service experience?
