First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Moaddel Law Firm.
Attorney
It was a two-part interview process. The first interview was mainly to assess your experience. The second interview was about setting expectations and seeing if you'd be a good fit for the team. They also asked questions about your support staff.
- Why are you interested in criminal law?
Legal Assistant
I had to take a test when I applied. Got a call back after a few hours and set up an interview. It was in their office and they were really disorganized and I was there for almost 3 hours. I talked to the manager first, then they made me wait to get a second opinion. I talked to the COO next, and then had to wait almost an hour to meet the CEO. Then I waited again while they decided if they were going to offer me the job. Just be prepared to be there for hours. The questions were pretty simple and not hard to answer.
- What is your main motivation in life?
Case Analyst
The interview is just a casual chat about you, so don't worry about your resume. Just be ready to give a quick pitch about yourself. We'll chat about things like your family and your hobbies.
- Could you tell me about your family life?
- What are some of your hobbies or interests?
Legal Assistant
You'll meet with different people from the firm, and they'll ask you typical interview questions about why you want the job. Before that, you take this 15-minute online quiz, which honestly felt like a waste of time because those tests trying to gauge your 'smartness' rarely show what kind of person you are. You can't really test someone's passion or dedication with a quiz.
- What makes you want to work for our firm?
