First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MNGI Digestive Health.
Registered Nurse
Back when I interviewed, it was a Zoom meeting, but now they conduct interviews in person. An HR representative and the hiring manager were present. We talked about my previous experience and they asked me about how I would uphold their company mission statement, which is 'Caring People Caring for People.' They also inquired about my views on diversity and my motivation for wanting to join their organization, along with other standard interview queries.
- In what ways would you contribute to our mission statement?
Clinic Assistant
I had a short phone call screening that lasted about 18 minutes. Then, we set up a Zoom interview for later that week. They have specific start dates because of their orientation schedule.
- Tell me about your background and experience.
Scheduler
I didn't get the job and it turned out to be a good thing. I have friends who work there and they're not happy. They've lost a lot of the things they used to like about the job. The company is getting worse. They used to have weekends off, wear their own scrubs, and the pace was fast but manageable with decent pay. Now, upper staff takes advantage of workers, there were no raises this year despite more work and changes due to COVID, and they're going to start working Saturdays. The CEO's emails tell them to prioritize work over health. No bonuses, no raises, losing weekends, no hazard pay, forced to take breaks in their cars because the breakroom is used for meetings, and constantly being floated to other locations even when it doesn't make sense, all so management looks good. I'm glad I'm not working there; they don't care about their employees. MNGI used to have a good reputation, but now it's just complaints.
- What makes you want to join MNGI?
Patient Care Coordinator
First, there was a phone screening. Then, about a week after, they asked me to come in for an in-person interview. Three people were there, one from HR and two from the department I'd be working in.
- What makes you the right person for this job?
