First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mity-Lite.
3D Visualizer
First, I spoke with HR. Then, I had an interview with the team. After that, there was a modeling test. They gave me a week to complete the test, and it took me at least 40 hours to do what they asked. They sent the references in a PDF. There were no CAD files or technical drawings of the furniture provided for modeling. They asked for the renderings to be 'low res'.
- What resources would you require from our end?
Team Lead
They told me I'd get the job early on. Then the whole department quit, so they put me in the role temporarily. I kept the department running for 6 months, and then they hired someone they had fired twice before for the position.
- Do you have prior management or leadership experience?
Operator
I talked to two people about jobs. Then I did a short walk-through of the floor with a manager. The worst part was they said they'd get back to me in a week about their decision, and they never did. I don't respect companies that don't follow through on their word, especially when you might have other options and knowing where you stand is important.
- Can you share your manufacturing experience?
Project Engineer
The interview was in person at the Orem location. It was friendly and organized, though they weren't super clear about the required experience. My first contact was with HR, who was based in Tennessee.
- Can you describe your approach to managing a project?
