It was a chill, qualitative 1-round interview. They asked about my personal experiences and there were no technical elements. It was a pleasant experience overall, and the interviewer was kind and punctual. There weren't multiple rounds, and I got a response within a week.

The recruiter called me. They helped me prep for the interview. The managers and HR interviewed me in the office. They were nice and professional. The recruiter told me they needed someone with more experience. I think the first interview should be remote so you don't have to commute on a workday.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

After passing the online tests, there was an HR interview, which was a standard fit interview focusing on personality, competencies, and past experience. The second interview was with the hiring manager and their boss. It was a two-part interview. First, a mini case study project to assess how I'd handle a real-life trading situation. Second, I had to present my findings and answer questions. They also asked some unconventional questions, like the best advice I ever got. Finally, there were some follow-up HR interviews that were essentially confirmation steps.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you discuss your previous experience, aspirations, and how you work in a team, along with your understanding of the market?
  • Tell me about your past experience, what are your ambitions, are you a team player, and what is your market knowledge?
