The process was fair, honest and clear. It kicked off with an assessment, followed by an online meeting, and culminated in a final presentation and case study, along with an in-person discussion at the office. An SMT member was part of the interview process. The case was presented to only two people, and it wasn't overwhelming. They were very kind, making it a good experience overall.

So, about a month back, I had my interview. Kate Zasadil, she called me first for a phone chat. Then, about a week later, a Wednesday, I went in for an in-person interview with her and the hiring manager. Another week passed, and it was another Wednesday, and I went in again. This time, I met the hiring manager briefly, then I talked to two team members and the head of the department, one by one. They told me their decision the following Monday. Everyone I met was super smart and really nice. The in-person part felt really long, like, a full day, but it gave me a great idea of the job. If you don't live super close, take the whole day off. I only took half a day, and the interviews themselves, with travel, were about 2-3 hours.

I applied through Glassdoor and then went to the company website. The process began with a phone interview with the hiring manager, which seemed to go well. About two weeks later, I was invited for an on-site interview. I was pretty unhappy with how the scheduling and HR part went down. My interview got confirmed just 2 days before it was supposed to happen, and I realized that same day was going to be one of the busiest month-end close days for my current team. I told the HR person on the phone that the day before and that day itself would be super hectic for me at my current job, making it really tough to take off 3 hours for the on-site. But the HR person didn't seem very flexible, putting me in a tough spot mainly because of the interviewers' vacation schedules for the following week. I felt like I was forced to choose between being a good team player for my current employer and this interview for a job I might not even get. To make matters worse, the HR person raised her voice when I asked to reschedule for the second time, even after I had already explained my situation. It really wasn't professional. HR is usually the face of a company, and this HR issue with scheduling the on-site made me feel like the company wasn't considering how this difficult situation could get me into trouble with my current employer. The way the HR person spoke to me on the phone when I requested to reschedule made me think about other companies I've interviewed with that were more understanding of my commitments. I ended up deciding not to move forward with this company.

HR reached out to schedule a phone screening and asked me to answer their 5 questions. Then, there was a HR phone screening, but it was a negative experience because the person wasn't sure about the role. After that, a phone interview with the hiring manager, which was a very negative experience. I could already tell about the team I will be working with. Overall, their interview process is very long, 4-5 rounds, with unnecessary interviews that feel like a waste of candidate's time.
