Had two rounds, one with the PM and one with my direct manager. They looked over my resume and asked about my past planning experience. It was pretty chill, just basic questions about my education and work history.

The interview process for an SQE usually goes like this: First, an HR interview to chat about your background, why you wanna work here, and talk about pay, moving, and if you can work here. Then, a technical interview where they'll test your knowledge on quality stuff like ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D, and Six Sigma. They'll also give you case studies on supplier problems, ask how you'd find the cause and fix it. They wanna know if you get how things are made (like SMT, injection molding, etc.) and how you manage suppliers. Plus, they'll check if you can read charts like SPC and understand things like Cp/Cpk and DOE. Lastly, a behavioral interview using the STAR method, asking about dealing with supplier issues or getting them to do better.

Had a general phone interview and then an onsite interview over several rounds. The questions were pretty straightforward and easy to answer. The whole process took about 3 weeks from start to finish, and then I got an offer.

I originally applied for a Quality Engineer role, but after the HR team reviewed my resume, they also considered me for Industrial Engineer and Process Engineer positions. I spoke with two HR people first about my background and then had separate discussions with the supervisors for both the Quality Engineer and Industrial Engineer roles. The interviews weren't very technical; they were more focused on my previous experience and enthusiasm for the job rather than my academic performance.
