The interview really dug into the technical and professional side of things. They asked about stuff on my resume and then wanted specific examples. They also asked straightforward questions about my personal skills, focusing on communication and teamwork. The questions were mostly about fixed equipment and particular technologies.

I had an onsite interview with the company recruiter, division manager, and controller. First up was the recruiter who covered basic HR stuff. Then the division manager went over the role requirements in more detail and asked about my experience with the tasks involved. Finally, the controller discussed the company's overall corporate environment and the role's responsibilities and team fit. The interview felt average in difficulty, and no questions seemed designed to intentionally trick me.

I saw an ad online for an Operations Coordinator and applied. A couple of weeks later, I got an email to do this online Google doc with about 20 questions about my experience and some general interview questions. The HR Manager then called me for a quick intro chat, saying it wasn't an interview but asked about my online submission and some basic stuff about me to see if I should move on to the next step. The next step was a phone interview with him and two other people, scheduled for about an hour, but we ended up talking a bit longer. A week after that, they called me for an in-person interview at the office. This part had three parts: first, I met with two former employees who had been promoted, then two recent former employees who were also being promoted, and finally the general manager. This last part was supposed to be an hour but went for two hours. I got the offer about 30 days after applying.

So, there wasn't really a formal interview process for me. I had already worked for this big Petrochemical Corporation as a contractor through another company. They decided they wanted to rehire me for the same position I had before. So basically, they just approved me to come back, and I got the job based on their recommendation and my previous track record with them.
