Facilities Support Specialist
Had two interviews, first a phone screen then an in-person. They asked questions based on my resume and the job description. The phone screen was pretty standard, just to see if I was a good fit for the role. Then the in-person interview was with the manager, and we dug deeper into the role and my skills.
- What's driving your job search right now?
Scrum Master
I went through three interview stages and they seemed impressed and I was sure they were going to call me. I waited and after a few weeks, I wrote them for an update. Then, they told me they had to go with someone else.
- Could you provide an example of how you would handle a specific situation?
Assistant Branch Manager
I had a pre-screen call with HR who asked about my work experience and different job scenarios. She was really helpful and always answered my calls and emails. My first interview was with the hiring manager and another branch manager. It felt more like a conversation to get to know each other, and they were very attentive and genuine. The second interview was with two branch sector managers, where I presented my business plan, work experience, and job priorities. They handled the interview so well that it made me want the job even more. The third round also felt very comfortable. I got an offer a week later.
- What makes you want to join Mission Federal?
Assistant Branch Manager
So I applied for a role and the recruiter called me for a phone interview. It went really well, I felt like I answered everything perfectly, and my salary expectations were on par. They said they'd call me back in a few days for an in-person interview. Well, days turned into weeks, then months, and after I tried calling and emailing them a few times, they stopped responding. I guess I was too eager, but they promised an interview. I got the message and won't be trying for a job there again. I've applied for other jobs since, and just get the automated rejection email.
- What salary range are you looking for?
- What feedback would your current manager give you?
