After applying, I had to prepare a presentation about a subject in the field. I had to wait nearly 50 minutes past my appointment time for it, but it went alright and they asked about why I want to work in academia and about my university professors. Then, a few days later, I had an English assessment via Zoom with an English professor. After that, I had an HR interview where they asked typical questions like how to handle student issues, how to get them to pay attention, my most stressful experience, and my salary expectations. The main issue is with the Masters program, which typically lasts 5 years, but you must register in the first semester or you lose your job offer. The pay is minimum wage considering the workload.

For Misr International University’s Computer Science program, the interviews usually cover programming, logic, and problem-solving. There's often a technical test and a chat to see if you're motivated and have the skills.

The interview involves a short presentation, about 15 minutes long, where you'll explain a technical concept from a field you choose. Be ready for this! They're looking at how well you speak, your technical know-how, and if you can explain things clearly. They'll also ask a couple of questions about your career goals and what topics you're interested in.

So the first interview was with HR, and it was mostly about my personality, why I want to be a TA, and if I'd fit in with the university. They wanted to know my career goals, like what I want to do after being a TA (I told them Backend Development). They also asked how I'd deal with problems, like if a student was causing trouble. I also talked about what I'm doing now, like freelancing and a project for a Saudi company.
