I booked an in-person interview but when I got there they said they don't have any openings for students who can only work 20 hours a week. They didn't even ask me any questions about my qualifications, just about my availability. They said they need someone who can work more than 20 hours because of shift requirements.

Behavioral Presentation

First, a presentation was given about Mise en Place, what the company stood for and how it operated. It also mentioned what kind of clothing had to be worn. Then we had to fill out a document with some questions like your strengths, weaknesses, whether you are more of a leader, etc. Afterwards, a conversation took place. After the conversation, it was said whether you could proceed to the training or not. During the training, it was taught how to serve and what etiquette entails. The values of Mise en Place were also discussed. In the end, it was explained whether you were hired or not.

Confirmed questions1 question

Behavioral Presentation Other

First, there was a general info session about the company spirit, mostly in Dutch. Then, a personal introduction to a team member. After that, a two-day theoretical and practical training on the basics of serving, held in a Brussels hotel. It's quite long, goes late, and for someone with prior serving experience, it's pretty useless unless they don't know how to tie a tie.

  • Are you willing to work at least 4 times a month for MP?
