Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mirvac.
Cadet
The assessment centre included a one on one chat with the project manager, a group activity, and an aptitude test. The chosen candidates were divided into groups, and each group worked on the tasks.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your main motivation?
- What information do you have about our company?
Intern
So I applied for the internship, and the next step was sending in videos through a platform. You had 30 seconds to read the questions and then 3 minutes to answer, with 3 tries before it automatically submitted. After that, a few of us were invited for a whole day of interviews. This day had aptitude tests, group activities, and one-on-one chats with my potential supervisor. We were in groups with other people going for the same job, which was cool but also a bit nerve-wracking.
- Can you share a time you faced and overcame a challenge?
- What unique qualities do you contribute to a team?
- Describe your process for verifying your work to ensure accuracy.
Intern
Applied with a cover letter and some questions. Then there was an online virtual video interview. You could practice some questions in the video interview, but only the last one you recorded was submitted.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
