I had a standard initial chat with the recruiter. She was really pleasant, knew a lot, and shared good info. She talked about the job and some background on the department. Sadly, I wasn't selected to continue.

Behavioral Presentation

The talent acquisition team was very organized and communicated clearly and consistently. After talking to 7 people, I was told I didn't move forward. The hiring manager called me personally to give feedback and mentioned that they didn't hire anyone because the interviewers weren't aligned on what they wanted for the role. I appreciated the honest communication.

I had an interview with the UX lead, and then there was a technical assignment that involved writing an essay and creating wireframes. The interviewer was really nice and pretty casual, and I had to present one of my projects in detail.

Behavioral Technical

The hiring process started off well, with interviews being scheduled quickly. However, during the interviews, the hiring manager was quite rude, questioning my experience and making me doubt if they thought I could do the job. It made me wonder why they were interviewing me if they already doubted my abilities. After completing 9 individual interviews, I was ghosted for a whole month. I had to reach out to HR twice before getting a response. HR then informed me that they had already hired someone else for the role but were still interested in me for a different position under the same manager. They asked if I would be willing to do 9 more interviews for that other position, to which I declined, stating I was no longer interested.
