First, I responded to some questions about my background and skills via email. Then, I had an in-person meeting with HR, followed by an in-person meeting with the person currently in the role. On Saturday, I had a 2-hour meeting with the CEO, and then a meeting with the CEO and another executive team member. Finally, there was a 1-hour Skype call to go over the 8-page offer letter.

  • Questions were primarily about my experience and background rather than specific scenarios.
  • We extensively discussed my personality test results and how they compared to the CEO's.

It was a good but extensive interview process. The interview started with an intro to the role and company, then a Skype interview, followed by an in-person interview at the office. The questions were detailed and focused heavily on my approach to events and project management. I got to ask all my questions and felt like they were answered truthfully. Behavioral Other

The interview process was quite thorough, involving two separate meetings directly with the leadership team. The main focus was on assessing my ability to 'manage up,' be a good team player, and generally fit well into the company culture. They also used a DISC personality assessment to look into my traits. References were contacted quickly, and they asked very specific, broad questions. It took several interviews, and the last two felt more like informal chats to get to know the managing partner.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • In what ways can you effectively 'manage up'?
