I was recruited for this role by an outside agency that works for Miron. The agency recruiter was professional and personable. I provided them with written responses to interview questions and then we had a follow-up phone interview. An interview was scheduled to meet at the Miron corporate office with three Miron managers/executives. During the interview, the position was described very negatively. It was made clear that the position required long hours and that the company made use of people's mobile phones regularly to call them during evenings to help out. When I asked about the work/life balance at the company, the HR manager didn't understand the concept. He told me that the employees sometimes took a day off of work to do fun team-building events together.

I put in my application online through a staffing agency and got a call the very next day to do a phone interview. A few hours after my phone interview, they invited me in for an interview. My interview was with the VP of HR and the VP of the department I would be working in. After I finished my interview, I was offered a second interview with the VP of HR and the two owners of Miron. Pretty soon after my second interview, I was offered the job and I happily accepted.

Behavioral Presentation

I went to their main office and met with the director of HR and a Project Executive. We talked for a bit, and they asked me some questions, mostly about who I am. They also explained what would be expected of me and how to do well in this field, which I thought was a nice touch. I found out if I got the job offer within a few hours.
