Sales Development Representative
The interview process for this role was lengthy and thorough, which I found to be a positive indicator that the company is striving to hire only applicants that are likely to be successful in the position. Although interviewing can always be a tiring process, I thought that Miro did an excellent job of communicating each step thoroughly and scheduling subsequent interviews quickly. I especially liked the calendar tool that the recruiter uses to help set up your calls! This helped to schedule dates/times that worked best for my schedule, making the lengthy process as efficient and streamlined as possible. Overall, I think that Miro does an excellent job preparing candidates for each stage in the interview process and keeps professionalism top of mind.

Sales Development Representative
I went through a four-part interview process. The 1st was with the recruiter, who was my main point of contact and made the process super smooth. The second was with the hiring manager, she asked some questions about past work challenges and how I tackled them. The third was a mock call, which felt a bit unnatural and took away my strength of connecting with people first. It made me nervous. The last was with the head of global sales development, and he asked some really inquisitive questions. Overall, the process was robust and might seem daunting, but I can see why Miro has applicants go through it. It was fun and challenging, and I'd do it again.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations?
- Tell me about a time you faced a work challenge and how you overcame it.
- How would you handle a mock sales call, given your approach?
Sales Development Representative
I only got through three interview rounds. The first two were super quick and they kept changing the times last minute. This company is growing fast and they really value their SDRs, which is cool, but it can make you feel less important and adds stress to an already tough process. When I did get to talk to someone about the job, they didn't seem that into my interest or background. They mostly wanted to explain that I'd need to ask a lot of questions, but they'd rush off the phone so fast that you couldn't really ask much without going over time. My second interview was supposed to be 30 minutes, but they talked so much that we only had like 2 minutes left for questions, and they made sure to remind me.
- Can you tell me about your career aspirations?
- What do you hope to find in your next position?
- What's your background in SaaS sales?
