The interview process included a recruiter call, a manager interview, an interview with the manager’s manager, and a peer review. Everything moved along quickly, and the whole thing wrapped up in a few weeks. It was a really good experience.

So, the whole process has 5 steps. First, there's a quick 30-minute call with the recruiter. After that, you'll get a take-home assignment. You'll need to answer 3 sample tickets, so make sure to check out our support site and maybe set up a free Miro account because it's super helpful for this part. Then, you'll chat with the hiring manager for about 30 minutes. The fourth step is a 1-hour interview split into two parts: 30 minutes with two team members to talk about culture stuff, and then 30 minutes with a Senior Enterprise Customer Success Manager to discuss your cross-collaboration experience. Finally, there's a 30-minute interview with the head of customer experience.

This was a super hands-on and fast interview process. I always knew what was going on. Like many startups, they review applications quickly and give you an answer within a week or two. I applied to 20 jobs via BuiltinLa, and Miro was one of them. I had an initial screening with Liane, who was fantastic. It was the best screening I'd had since starting my job search this summer; unlike a previous screener who only gave awkward silences and didn't seem engaged, Liane spoke to me like a real person and made me feel comfortable. The process: Monday: recruiter screening. Wednesday: submitted assignment. Friday: positive response and interview scheduled. Tuesday: met with Head of CSR and Team Lead (Permanent staff). Wednesday: met with Head of Success (based in Amsterdam). Thursday: met with 2 CSRs (Permanent staff), Customer Ed. Manager, and the only CSR in the LA office. I'm an early riser (2-3 AM gym sessions), so these early PST times worked out great for me, allowing me to meet everyone without impacting my sleep schedule. The whole thing took two weeks, which I really appreciated, especially compared to companies that still send rejections for summer applications. Liane was also great at helping me schedule the next steps quickly because I was so eager to learn more about Miro.
