The interview process included a conversation with the Hiring Manager. It seemed pretty standard, with typical questions for this type of role. However, because the position is meant to be strategic, the answers I got back didn't seem as high-level as I was expecting. Maybe it was my background at larger companies, but for an enterprise role, the expectations for a Customer Success Manager felt more like entry-level duties.

Conversations felt insightful and welcoming, and they really focused on both skills and cultural fit. Had a good talk with the recruiter about the company's rapid growth and what they were looking for in a management role. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager to discuss the team and their objectives for the upcoming year. Sadly, it didn't work out, which is understandable. One suggestion for a fast-growing company: follow up with candidate feedback. I tried contacting the recruiter for more info but never got a response.
