First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Miro.
Strategic Account Executive
The whole process was really straightforward and clean. They made sure to set clear expectations from the start and were upfront about the criteria they'd use to make decisions. Everything moved quickly, and the interviewers were really respectful of my time. The recruiter was professional, let me know exactly when to expect follow-up, and was always punctual.
- Could you describe a recent deal you worked on, from start to finish, detailing its structure?
Account Executive
The interview process felt a bit disorganized, requiring a lot of follow-up with the recruiter for next steps. Management seemed unsure about the process and what the next steps should be after an interview, and communication wasn't as proactive as with other companies. On the plus side, the company seems to have an exciting culture and is growing rapidly. However, internal changes can make it seem like people are unsure of what's going on. During the demo phase, they say they're looking for discovery questions, but feedback was more about personality. My advice is to learn the product beforehand to have more to discuss during the demo and show how you'd perform in a sales call, rather than just asking questions. Some managers were rude, interrupting interviews, leaving mid-interview, or leaving candidates waiting between interviewers. My advice is to give feedback and see if reps want another chance, as it shows coachability, which seemed overlooked.
- What motivates your interest in Miro and sales?

Account Executive
I applied for the AE role at RealtimeBoard and heard back pretty fast. After the first chat with recruiting, I had several interviews with people up and down the sales and sales management ladder. These were done over the phone, video, and in person. The whole thing felt smooth, they checked everything out, and I felt supported. Recruiting was super clear about everything from the start. The team members I talked to asked good questions and seemed genuinely interested in me. Everyone was quick to respond and happy to answer my questions. It seems like RealtimeBoard really wants to build a great team.
- Tell me why you're interested in RealtimeBoard.
