The typical on-site process for assistant professor positions involves: Day 1 includes airport pick-up, a city tour, lunch with faculty, and dinner with faculty. Day 2 consists of a research presentation, a teaching demonstration, and meetings and discussions with faculty and students. The faculty were very welcoming.
