First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Minnetronix Medical.
Engineer
I had a phone screen first, and then a panel interview. They asked a lot of situational questions and about my experience. It’s a good idea to know the company’s values and the kind of medical devices they make.
- Walk me through your resume.
- Can you elaborate on your past experiences?
- What are the core values of this company?
Project Manager
It was a pretty standard process. First, an HR interview, then an onsite interview with the team and the hiring manager. Honestly, the interview felt like a waste of time. The team had a bit of a 'good old boys' club vibe. The interviewers came across as unprofessional and didn't really have much tact.
- Can you tell me about your experience with the product life cycle?
Software Engineer
It was a long process with many interviews with people outside of engineering. Then there were more interviews a few days later, and then even more. It took a really long time to get any response after the last interview. Apparently, my salary request was too high compared to what current employees make, and they've been there a long time and are underpaid.
- Can you talk about our company principles?
- How do these company principles resonate with you?
Quality Engineer
I had a preliminary screening with a contract agency that asked pre-set questions. Then, I had an interview with the hiring manager over lunch at a restaurant. It was a very relaxed, informal meeting. Since my technical skills were already screened, we mostly talked about philosophies and how I would handle different situations. They make decisions quickly; I got an offer call from the placement agency while I was driving home from the interview.
- What's your approach to dealing with a challenging supplier?
