The application was easy and clear. I found instructions and an application portal on the Ministry of Railways website. They have a structured interview process. It was a mix of technical railway questions and general questions about my background and experience.

The interview process involved identifying top performers among underperformers and performance disruptors. It also touched upon changing the promotion policy to be more scalable rather than rigid. There was a general interview about your home state and local crops, followed by a technical discussion about any engineering experience you might have.
