First, I had a video chat with the recruiter. I didn't think there would be technical questions, but she sent me a Word doc with around 20 Java questions, and I had to write out my answers. Then, the onsite interviews included meetings with two engineers who asked technical Java questions and had me solve problems on a whiteboard. After that, I spoke with a tech manager who gave me a paper with Java questions and algorithm problems; she was on the phone the whole time and seemed really uninterested. Next, a manager discussed my past work and the company. Finally, the hiring manager also talked about my previous experience and the company, and really tried to recruit me. A few days later, I got an offer, but the salary was lower than what I was making, so I declined.

Reading some of the comments here made me a bit worried, but honestly, the interview process was really nice and professional. I talked with 5 different people, including the CEO, and they all made me feel at ease. They also made a very fair offer!

I had two interviews, and each time there were multiple people. The first meeting involved a written test, which in hindsight, I probably should have skipped. It covered basic UNIX and networking topics, the kind usually found in a technical interview. However, no technical questions were asked after that initial meeting. The focus seemed to shift more towards work ethic and availability.

It took about half a day for the interviews. There were three different people I met, and one part included a technical quiz. I had to follow up a number of times to get updates, and the whole process took about two months. It seems like a nice place to work, and the location is good.
