I had a phone call with HR, and then an in-person meeting with two people from the team. The interviewers were about 15 minutes late and didn't interact much with me during the hour. They mostly looked at their screens with blank expressions, which was a bit disappointing (couldn't one type while the other was present?). I didn't get the job, but honestly, I doubt I would have continued my application anyway because I think it's really important to connect with the people interviewing you.

After applying through groupm's job portal, I was contacted by HR for an informal chat (phone call) to understand my past experiences and how it may fit into the role. As my experience was lacking for the role I've applied for, he recommended a different role and checked if I'll be willing to give it a try before setting up an in-person meeting. Meeting with HR in the office was very casual, he asked some questions that he feel the hiring team may ask and provided guidance on answering them. After the meeting, he even shared a link for me to further increase my knowledge and get certifications with Google tools. Interview with the hiring team was set up via email in their office. Questions to understand past experiences and for them to share the job scope. Candidate will really have to understand the industry and scope of work prior to the interview. I didn't get an offer mainly because I was lacking in terms of knowledge and skillset for the industry. The overall process was fairly quick - HR and hiring team are all very responsive. This is one of my best hiring experiences despite not being offered the position.

Applied for the research and insights team. First a brief call with a recruiter then they pass you to be interviewed by two members of the team (quite casual). After this, they sent a data task to do and I had to present findings. During this interview they said that the final stage is another casual interview with the head of team. I was told that I would be informed of the outcome on a Friday. However, I didn’t hear anything until I emailed the recruiter (Thursday of the following week). She called to tell me that I did not get the role, which was a little bit annoying as I feel like they could have just sent me an email earlier. I did get feedback at this stage and was told it was quite a fierce competition.
