Project Manager
Had an initial screening interview with the talent manager, which was a pretty casual chat and it went fine. After that, I had a competency interview with the hiring manager. It was all standard competency questions, and I thought it went well, but I haven't heard back or received any feedback, even after I followed up.
- How do you handle organizing multiple competing priorities?
Project Manager
I got an email from an internal recruiter and scheduled a Zoom call a few days later. The interview started out neutral, but mostly asked how I'd deal with angry clients or put out fires. I asked about the current workload and staffing, and she mentioned they're understaffed. I also asked if upper management was aware and working on solutions, to which she said yes, there's transparency, but no examples. By the end, I felt like a number and got a negative vibe. Glad I didn't get an offer.
- Can you share an instance where you dealt with an irate client?
- Describe how you would address an urgent problem at work.
Project Manager
It was a three stage interview process, after an initial chat with the recruitment officer. The first stage was a skills-based interview with the head of the team, the second was an assessment, and the final was another chat. Then the final stage was a little unnecessary in my opinion, but otherwise, it was an okay process.
- One of the assessment tasks is a prioritization task
