Recruiter called about 10 minutes after the scheduled time. They really emphasized that the most important thing they're looking for is someone who can handle difficult clients, set boundaries, and manage expectations. The recruiter mentioned that respect is their top value. Oddly, the recruiter didn't know the team size, the actual salary, or how success in the role is measured. They said we'd hear back about next steps within 5 days, but then they ghosted completely. The entire interaction felt unprofessional, lacked clear direction, and wasn't respectful.

I met with a small team over Zoom. The questions they asked were interesting but not unexpected. After the first interview, we both agreed to proceed, so they scheduled a second interview right at the end of the first. Following that second interview, since we were both on board to move forward, I met with someone to go over the contract details. Then, it was up to me to decide whether to accept the offer.

I interviewed in Northgate a few weeks ago and I wish I had someone more professional to interview me. The interviewer started by saying they need someone long-term and don't have coverage for vacations or days off. I just agreed. She gave me some company info then asked questions. The first few were easy, but then she asked ambiguous questions. When I asked for specifics, she seemed annoyed. For example, she asked how I'd handle an irate client upset about a $50 cancellation fee, potentially due to a late cancellation or a missed voicemail. I asked for clarification on the reason to tailor my response, but her impatience cut me off. She then asked a similar open-ended question and abruptly ended the interview. I expected a welcoming atmosphere, but the front desk staff weren't friendly either.

This was a very thorough interview experience. I think I had 4 interviews total. They asked a lot of questions about my motivations for wanting the role and really took it seriously to find the right fit. Ultimately I did not feel this company would allow me the flexibility, support or work life balance I was looking for. It also came down to the level of trust they seemed to offer their employees. You have to earn trust there, it is not just give. Not sure I totally align with that philosophy.
