The interview process had three rounds: two phone calls and one in-person meeting. The conversations were really productive, focusing on me, my work, and my ideas for future initiatives. They were also very open and honest when I asked questions. After the final interview, I was told I'd hear back the same day, but I never did. It was super disappointing after investing so much time (each interview was an hour long) and having what seemed like a genuine dialogue. I wish they'd handled the closure more professionally, but that doesn't seem to be their way of doing business.
- What article suggestions do you have for the upcoming quarter?
Brand Experience Manager
Applied online and got a call back the next day for a phone interview. I had that phone interview that week and then went to MBG headquarters the next week to meet with two people. It went well, so they invited me back the following week to meet with two more people, including a director and a co-founder. I sent thank you notes afterwards, and the hiring manager said I'd hear back within a week. When I followed up, she replied quickly, mentioning they were still in the early stages and she expected an update in 1-2 weeks. I checked in again after 2-3 weeks, and she informed me the process was paused due to "Revitalize" and a decision would be made by the end of September. I didn't hear back after that last outreach.
- What attracts you to MBG?
- Can you describe a past campaign you managed?
Manager
The interview process involved four rounds, all of which seemed to go really well and received good feedback. However, after reaching out for a follow-up, I was met with silence. Despite multiple interview stages, I expected at least a response, but instead, I was ghosted. It felt like there wasn't a dedicated HR contact for follow-ups, but even a quick reply from the hiring manager would have been appreciated.
- Can you share an experience where you had to handle a challenging individual at your workplace?
Client Experience Associate
I had two casual interviews. The first was over the phone and the second was on Zoom. The people I spoke with were both really nice and the conversation felt very natural. It was a positive experience overall!
- Can you tell me why you're interested in working at MBG?
- In what ways do your previous experiences make you a good fit for this position?
