It was a nice process. The HR team was great. I went through a few rounds of interviews and spoke with a VP of Sales. Seems like a good company to join!

I was referred by an employee and after two weeks, I got my first phone interview. I sent a thank you note and was told to expect a second call soon. Three days later, the call came unexpectedly late at night. They said I was a great fit and had the experience, and that my third and final in-person interview would be in the next few days. The weekend passed, then several weeks went by with no contact. My referral checked in and was told I was impressive and would be a great addition, and they asked my age. After a couple more weeks, I called the second interviewer who said the same thing, and told me to call the first interviewer. I left a message and sent another email, but heard nothing. Another couple weeks passed, and my referral found out in a meeting that the position had been filled. I'm not upset about not getting the job, but I am upset about being led to believe I had it, being given lip service, and being left hanging. I believe I was discriminated against because of my age (early 40s). My referral and I thought I was the best fit given my experience in construction, sales, and power tools. This company seems to hire recent grads with no experience and only value those who lie.

The interview process had three rounds. The first two were at my college, and then they took us to their headquarters for a tour and a group interview. Those first two rounds were pretty easy, and I was told right after that I'd made it to the next round. They invited us to a hockey game the day before the final interview round. There were also some information sessions at our school about the program and the long-term career path for this job. I think attending all of them is important to build connections with their staff, which can be really helpful in the later interview rounds.
