I interviewed with the City of Milwaukee for the Geographic Information Tech II position. It was a formal panel interview, conducted virtually over Microsoft Teams. HR, along with specialists from each team were present. Plenty of time was given to ask questions.

I applied and got a call back, but the interview kept getting rescheduled, like 3 times. When I finally went, I was on time but then had to wait like 20 minutes. The room was super hot too. It turned out to be a panel interview, which was a surprise because nobody told me. They asked a bunch of stuff. The job seemed cool, but I don't think I was what they were looking for demographically.

It was a panel interview with people from different departments. They scored candidates, and I think I was in the top 3. They discussed the next round during the interview, but I didn't move to it, instead, I was placed on an eligibility list.
