First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Milner Document Products.
Helpdesk Analyst
The interview had two parts. First, I met with the manager and team leader. Then, there was a second interview with the manager and their boss. No technical questions were asked, just general questions about how willing you are to learn.
- What would you do if you encountered a problem you had no prior experience with and couldn't find any resources to help?
Implementation Manager
I was recently laid off and looking for a new job. A friend who works at this company referred me to speak with the VP. The process was pretty easy for me since I knew the managers. If you know someone there, you're almost guaranteed to get hired. It seems like a lot of people know each other or are related. I do regret not doing more research beforehand though, because the company was just too much for me to handle. They offered so many services, and it was really hard to keep track and make sure projects were successful.
- Could you share your greatest weakness?
Business Technology Consultant
I was recruited by the branch manager and fed a bunch of nonsense about creating a position initially in support of sales and consulting to customers and prospects but with a view to building an organization providing services to local and regional customers which, of course, never manifested. Interviews included one with some third-party consultant over the phone and then a video conference with a CTO and a team leader, the latter being the only one I ever had contact with after that.
- What is your knowledge of smart phones?
- Could you elaborate on your expectations regarding the development of this initiative?
- What is your perspective on the significance of having the right people involved in this project?
Billing Specialist
The interview process was quick, easy, and laid back. They asked good questions and the interviewer paid attention to my responses. It wasn't a rigid interview, and I got to meet the team. Overall, a very relaxed interview.
- What makes you the best candidate for this position?
