First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mills-Peninsula Health Services.
Respiratory Therapist
So, I first got scheduled for an interview at Sutter Mills, but the day before it was supposed to happen, I got an automated rejection. I checked, and it was for the same job. The person who scheduled it said she’d called to cancel because the job was filled, but I never got the call or voicemail. I think she should have at least sent an email. About a month later, the manager called and said my application was back but that the lead thought I wasn't interested anymore. I told her that wasn't true and that I was still interested. She then invited me for an interview the next week. I met with the NOC lead in person, but it was just a casual chat, not really any clinical or behavioral questions. She introduced me to the team. The next day, I got another automated email saying I didn’t get the job. I left a voicemail asking for an update but never heard back. The whole thing felt really disorganized and unprofessional, making me question the work environment there.

I experienced a manager interview and then a peer interview after that. It might have been an awkward, uncomfortable experience, but overall, I'm glad I got to do peer interviews. It was fun!

First HR reached out, then I had an interview with the manager, then I met with the team, and then I got the job.

Radiologic Technologist
I had a couple of interviewers, and they asked me about my career goals and what I envision myself doing in the next five years. They were also open to discussing cross-training opportunities in other imaging areas when I brought it up.
