First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Million Air.
Assistant General Manager
Had a short video interview. They didn't give much info about the process or salary. The interviewer didn't seem to know much about the company's general operations or the role. Didn't meet anyone else after the first interview.
- How would you organize your day to make sure the day is successful?
Customer Service Representative
I applied for a job and was so excited to get an interview. It started with a phone chat, then I had an on-site interview which I felt went great. After that, they gave me an offer and I'm thinking about it now.
- Can you tell me about your previous work ethic?
- How would you describe your working style?
- Have you ever had to deal with difficult co-workers?
Line Service Technician
You'll hear back from them about a month after you apply, and they'll schedule a meeting. When you get there, you'll see all the cool jets parked out front. They'll tell you about this crazy screening called "TalentPLUS," which places like the Hilton use to get rid of bad hires. They'll mention that usually only 3 out of 100 people pass this, and they'll give you some tips on using keywords like "teamwork" and "customers first." If you get through the TalentPLUS, you'll then interview with the sole manager and the general manager.
- Were there any questions that you found particularly challenging?
- Can you describe any questions that stood out to you during the interview process?
Refueler
This company has a pretty messed up hiring process. I first interviewed with the hiring manager for the FBO, but it only lasted about 2 minutes because he was super late and seemed distracted. Then, I had a second interview, a phone interview with behavioral questions. It took them two weeks to schedule it, which is weird because I'd expect the main office phone interview to be first, then the local FBO guy. But whatever. I was polite and answered the questions well, but I think I was overqualified, and they never called me back. I have a degree and 20 years of experience, so I don't know why they didn't call. Oh yeah, all this hassle was for an $11/hour job. I didn't even get a courtesy email after applying. If this is their hiring process, I bet everything else they do is just as messed up. Avoid them if you can. Try to get a job at a major airline or a top FBO instead.
- Can you provide an instance where you delegated tasks?
