Got a take-home assessment, then had interviews with PM teams. The interviews themselves were pretty varied; PMs really could ask you about anything. I got a mix of stats and probability brainteasers, medium leetcodes, and questions about my past experience and resume.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with a phone call with a team quant, which was a nice chat about the role and my tech skills. After two months, I got an invite for a video interview with a strategist. This person seemed nice but hadn't looked at my resume and said they couldn't test my math skills, mentioning someone else would, even though I thought that was the last step. They also made weird comments and laughed about not getting my research. Then, radio silence. No rejection or feedback, even after I emailed the recruiter multiple times. It felt disorganized and unprofessional, a real lack of seriousness and respect for applicants, especially given their reputation. They should have sent someone qualified to assess my abilities.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Regarding time series analysis, how would you go about isolating the trend?
  • Can you explain what linear regression is?
  • What motivated you to apply for this particular role?
