Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Milken Institute.
Intern
The interview process was pretty straightforward. There were 2 interviews, one with a director and another with an associate. It was mostly behavioral questions and questions about your past relevant work experience. The interviewers were people you would potentially work with, so it was also a good opportunity to gauge how you would fit in with the team.
- Why are you interested in joining MI?
Intern
The interviewers were nice, professional, and really engaging. They made sure to answer my questions and were upfront with their responses. I had a phone screening and then a group interview before they made me an offer.
- What about Milken Institute interests you?
- How do your skills fit this role?
Intern
I applied online and got a response within two weeks. A phone interview was arranged, and then a week after that, I was invited for an in-person interview.
- What kind of work environment do you prefer?
