Behavioral Presentation

The interview process started out really positive and promising. However, it became a bit of a letdown when there was a two-week wait between my first chat with the recruiter and finding out the next steps, especially after I'd already sent in my writing sample. I was initially told the next interview would be in just a few days. While the recruiter themselves was great and had a really positive vibe, the communication delay and the fact that the team ultimately decided to move forward with other candidates made the whole experience less than ideal.

Behavioral Technical

Mighty Network is a positive and customer-centric company, which is why I applied for the Customer Success Advocate position. The first two interviewers were respectful and organized. Their tone was encouraging and I was able to learn about the role, company and culture from speaking with them. The third interviewer barely participated in the process. She said she would turn off her notifications but never did. She looked at her computer more than engaged with me and lost her place in the conversation, asking me twice how did I learn about the job. When no other questions of substance were asked I started asking questions about the technology and the customer pain points. I was told she was the product expert. My questions meant to spark a dialogue were answered with, "Gosh, I don't know." It was a bizarre experience. I wish now that I had reported this situation to the recruiter.

Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process was amazing. Every step of the way was great. Everything from the first recruiter call to the second zoom call with the team lead to the last and final call with the SVP. Everyone was kind and it was obvious that they are searching for someone in this specific role that goes beyond a typical CSM type role. Someone who has had previous business consulting or coaching experience. They are also a purpose driven company, which really was highlighted along the way. They focused less on numerical and quantifiable achievements and instead, focused on more on your purpose and the story of what led you to applying to Mighty Networks. Hint: If you've built communities before, I recommend that you drive this home with them. Extra curricular activities as it relates to the company's mission is super important to them.

Behavioral Technical

The process involved a few steps to assess my experience and mindset for helping customers succeed and resolving platform issues. First, there was a 30-minute phone screening. Then, a 3-hour Zoom call with the initial screener, an Advocate team member, and a senior company member. The questions were similar, but the senior member really dug into how I'd respond to customers, even focusing on my language. After that, they asked for 3-4 references, including a previous manager. The final step was a meeting with the Founder, who scheduled it for a weekend to suit their schedule.
