First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Midwest Eye Consultants.
Optometrist
It was a two-step interview process, starting with a phone interview and then an in-person meeting. The doctors were really easy to talk to and get along with, so it was a pretty good experience overall. The only downside was having to travel to Wabash for the second interview.
- Can you tell me about the position?
- Could you describe your company culture?
Patient Support Specialist
I applied on a Thursday and got an email on Tuesday to schedule a phone interview, which happened the next day. Then I had an in-person interview scheduled for Friday at 10:30 AM. They mentioned it would take about a week to hear back, but I actually got a job offer call the same day at 4 PM. It was pretty basic interviews.
- What does a good work ethic mean to you?
- What would your previous managers say about you?
- What makes you the best candidate compared to others?
Practice Support Specialist
It was a 2 step interview process. First was a phone call, and the second was in person. The interview questions weren't too hard. The first interview was basically to weed out the bad eggs. The second was a little bit more in depth, focusing on the position and your work history.
- What makes you qualified for this role?
- Are you comfortable with traveling and being flexible?
Software Engineer
The interview process was quite long, with three separate interviews involving multiple people. I felt it was a lengthy process that I hoped would be worthwhile, but the job turned out to be really awful. I would never want to work there again. They definitely need better management.
- Can you discuss your past work experience?
