Front Office Lead Medical Assistant
I had a phone interview. My certifications were outdated, and I was really hoping they might let me renew them after I was hired because my resume is so strong. But, it didn't work out, and they passed on me. It was a professional and normal call, though.
- What's your core belief when it comes to patient care?
Nurse Practitioner
The first interview was with HR over the phone, where they went over the onboarding details and the job description. The second and last interview was in person with the Medical Director, focusing on my experience and provider responsibilities.
- What made you decide to apply here instead of other urgent care options nearby?
- Can you share your experience as a provider?
- What are your typical responsibilities in a provider role?
Medical Assistant
I first put in my application online via Indeed. Then, somebody called me to talk more about the job. The last part was an in-person interview where everyone was super nice and answered all my questions thoroughly.
- What qualities do you possess that would make you a strong candidate for this role?
- Would you be comfortable performing front desk duties if required?
Medical Assistant
The interview process involved several brief phone calls with different people, including HR and managers. The questions asked during these calls were generally repetitive. Following the phone interviews, there was an in-person interview that included a job shadow day. This job shadow allowed me to experience the role firsthand and assess if it was a good fit for me. The in-person interview was led by a clinic management member. The team was very welcoming during the job shadow, which influenced my decision to accept the job offer. I'm now almost a month into the role and very happy with my decision.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your previous work experience?
