First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Midtown Comics.
Software Developer
The whole thing took about 2 hours. I felt like it went really well and they liked me, we were laughing and joking. Then they just stopped responding, totally ghosted me. Super unprofessional since they spent TWO HOURS interviewing me.
- What's your motivation for seeking employment with this company?
Web Developer
The process was pretty straightforward. I sent in my resume and then got a call to chat briefly. After that, I was invited to their office in Long Island. Interestingly, they mentioned needing someone with strong coding skills and at least three years of experience for the role, suggesting the title should actually be 'Web Developer' rather than 'Graphic Designer,' with coding ability being a significant plus, as it's not typically a core skill for graphic designers.
- Do you have any experience with coding?
Shipper
They'll hire you and fire you in 2 seconds flat. I suggest if you'd like to work here for a month or 2 that should be perfectly fine. Don't have your heart set on working longer, or if you have any hopes and dreams to build a family, do not apply here.
