My recruiter was super late to the phone screen, like over three hours, and didn't say anything. The phone screen itself was just a chat and it went fine. After that, I had an in-person meeting with the branch manager. That was good, mostly questions about my resume and how I'd deal with tough situations.

The recruiting experience was great. My recruiter was super nice and explained everything well. She kept things simple and easy, and was really patient when there were delays with my references and work history checks. She also made sure things moved fast. She's a really hard worker and committed. I felt totally at ease talking with her. She promised to stop by during training, so I'm expecting that! It was a really genuine experience that I enjoyed and I'm kinda bummed it's over. I also met with the branch manager and a senior banking specialist, and they made me feel comfortable too. They asked some good questions and gave me plenty of time to think about my answers. It was totally relaxed, no stress or pressure. They wanted to see if I could do the job, but also if we'd get along. In all my years, I've never had such a nice interview. It felt like they were building a team.

I applied online and then a recruiter contacted me for a 30-minute phone interview. The recruiter was 15 minutes late. I was about to email about rescheduling when she called. The interview was a bit rough, as she wanted me to detail all my past jobs. Normally, recruiters and hiring managers only focus on relevant experience. She asked about salary expectations at the very end, which was unusual. The 30-minute call ended up being an hour long. I decided not to proceed further, so my resume wasn't sent to the hiring manager. The recruiter was nice, but seemed inexperienced.

The first interview was a phone call, basically to see if you're even worth a second interview with some basic screening questions. The second interview was longer, an hour total, split into two back-to-back 30-minute sessions with different people. The first 30 minutes was with the previous assistant and the manager, where they asked situational questions about the job while just chatting. The next 30 minutes was with two senior vice presidents who really grilled me on the big picture of MSB and why I wanted to work there.
