When I was hired, the process was simpler, but now it includes a behavioral test, which wasn't part of it before. First, I spoke with the area manager, and then for the second stage, I met with the operations director.

I went through a third-party to keep things confidential, as there was someone already in the role. The interview was off-site with the VP of Operations. It was a pretty standard interview, though I couldn't see the facility. We both decided it wasn't a good fit at the time because they needed someone more tactical for a short-term turnaround, like cleaning house and making radical changes before handing it over. I was looking for a longer-term career move.
