My interview process started with a referral from a current employee. I've spoken with many recruiters lately, but Midaxo's recruiter was a pleasant surprise – knowledgeable, friendly, and genuine, not like the typical robotic recruiters. I met with several team members, and they're all impressive, welcoming, curious, and passionate about their work and its impact. I really liked the team dynamics – they're smart and driven but also humble. The company's split between Helsinki and Boston creates a diverse team with broad knowledge. The CEO has a strong background and the vision for success. My interactions with the team left me feeling inspired and enthusiastic about improving how companies grow through M&A software.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

The recruiter called me first, and it was a nice chat, and they set up a mock sales call. If I passed that, I would have come in to meet the team. I also had to do a case study for the on-site, which took about an hour to 90 minutes. When I got on-site, I met with an existing AM who seemed intimidated and only cared about deals I had won. Then I met with a manager from the CSM team who gave good feedback. The hiring manager, when she walked in, didn't even know my name, which was rude. She asked me to tell her my accomplishments since my resume didn't stand out. She also asked if I spent a lot of time on the case study. I asked her what an ideal candidate looks like, and she said she didn't know. I felt like she was looking for reasons not to hire me, and I think I dodged a bullet from a toxic environment. I didn't get the offer, and I'm thankful.

Applied online, then called to follow up, and had a preliminary phone screening. After that, I met with three people from the company for about 30 minutes each. The talent recruiter was transparent, warm, and responsive, and so was the team. Overall, it was a great interview experience.

The hiring process was quick and the people were nice. The interviewers were pros, knew their stuff, and asked good questions. I had a phone screen first, and then two in-person interviews. They made me feel comfortable and made sure to show me the product and talk about where the company is headed.
