First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mid Penn Bancorp.
Mortgage Loan Processor
I applied online and then was invited for an in-person interview. I met with HR and the department manager. You should dress professionally for this interview because the corporate culture is very formal. It was a straightforward process.
- Can you describe your daily responsibilities at your previous mortgage company?
Education and Development Specialist
I first had a phone interview with the Talent Acquisition Officer. About a week after that, I had an in-person interview with the Talent & Performance Manager. This was followed by another in-person interview with both the Chief Administrative Officer and the Director of the Education team at the same time. The final stage was a performance/presentation interview where I had to facilitate a class on a banking topic chosen by them, and I was given a week to prepare. I got the offer in less than a week after that.
- How would you handle a disgruntle customer?
Intern
I had a good experience interviewing at Mid Penn Bank. The team was friendly and professional, and they seemed really interested in my background. It was a natural conversation, and I liked that I could talk about how my skills and goals fit with the company.
- Are you interested in a full-time role after completing the internship?
Teller
I had two phone screenings with HR people, and then I went to a branch to do a test they required. A few weeks after that, I had an in-person interview with the branch's Manager and Assistant Manager.
- What is your favorite aspect of Mid Penn?
