The interview process was really fast, and I only had one round. It was with three people: one from HR and two developers. They asked me questions about my past work and technical background, as well as about their current products. They also showed me their current work and developments. The interviewers were very open-minded, respectful, and friendly.

A recruiter from an agency reached out to me. Then, I had a phone call with HR and the engineering manager. This was followed by a presentation of my past work and several on-site interview rounds, each about 45 minutes long. The overall experience was great, I really liked the team and the process. It took a little over a month from the first contact to getting the offer.

I had one main interview with three other people who seemed less important and less interested. I think the main interviewer already decided to hire me from my resume before I even showed up, and he was more focused on just getting through the process to satisfy HR requirements than on considering anyone else's input.

The company has major recruiting issues, which was clear from my experience. I applied online multiple times for the job but never heard back. I finally sent my resume to the head of HR and got a response. The following phone interview seemed to go well, but I was told by an HR assistant that there were more qualified candidates ahead of me. This is surprising given my 10+ years of C-level engineering experience and coding skills. Two hours later, they reposted the same job opening online. It makes me wonder if my experience was too much for them.
