The interview had two rounds. The first round involved basic aptitude questions covering profit loss, data interpretation, ages, percentages, and pattern finding. It had 20 questions to be completed in 30 minutes and was easy if you had basic aptitude skills. The second round consisted of 10 DSA questions with pseudo code MCQs and 2 easy-level coding questions, with a total time of 60 minutes.

First, there was an online test with three parts: verbal, analytic, and design. Then, a HackerRank Online Test focusing on a cloud technology of your choice. After that, a 30-minute technical interview with the director. Finally, a 1-hour technical round.

The interview started with a recruiter call where they explained the process and sent over an online assessment. This assessment was 100 minutes long and included two easy Leetcode coding questions and 16 multiple-choice questions about data structures and algorithms. After that, the recruiter set up a 60-minute video call interview with a senior software architect. This interview had three parts. First, the interviewer spent 25 minutes introducing himself, his role, and his current project. Then, he asked about my experience at CITI, diving deep into the work I was doing and the architectures I'd worked with. The next 15 minutes focused on Java questions, where the interviewer was patient and provided feedback. For the last 20 minutes, I was given a coding question. The interviewer was more interested in my approach than a perfect solution, and I finished coding in under 15 minutes. The code worked for all test cases. The interview concluded with 5 minutes for my questions about team structure, dynamics, and how quickly a new engineer can ship code. I emailed the recruiter afterwards, but unfortunately, I received an email saying my application was rejected, and I never got a specific reason despite following up.
