Initial screen with a person who doesn’t even work full time with company. Would make more sense to have the human resource manager run this process then someone who isn’t apart of it

It was a multi-stage interview process. It started with HR, then I met with the direct supervisor for the role, and after that, their superior. I felt the process was very well organized and communicated. The interviews included direct questions and open discussions, where I could also ask my own questions. They shared specific details about the company and the role. Overall, the process felt typical for an established company with competent people.

My interview process at Micro-Tech was thorough but efficient. I had plenty of chances to talk with people at the company and get a feel for the culture. The interviews focused more on skills and behavior, rather than the usual generic questions that quickly rule people out.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Half the time was spent on questions, and the other half was a conversation about how I approach problem-solving.
  • We had an extended discussion regarding career paths and professional growth opportunities.

After applying, I got an email a few days later about a zoom interview. I accepted, and interviewed with the recruiter. She asked basic questions about my background, why I picked micro-tech, and why I'm a good fit. She also shared info about the company and the job. A few days after that, I got another email inviting me to an in-person interview with the accounting manager and the controller. I went, and they asked more in-depth questions about my experience, presented some scenarios for me to respond to, and then gave me a tour of the office and warehouse. They mentioned they'd let me know within a few days. I heard back maybe a day or two later with an offer. The whole process was pretty straightforward and easy.
