I had an in-person interview where a manager and three IT technicians were present. One technician was eating and greeted me with his left hand, while another was on his phone throughout. I think I missed about 8 simple questions out of 48 in 10 minutes, but I answered them with high security focus.

I had two phone interviews and they checked refferences. The phone interview is usually with the direct report and then with the Director of that department. Then I did a combined conversation with the two of them and was made a job offer after that. This is a pending offer with references checks and backgrounds needing to be done.

The interview process went super smooth. I chatted with two recruiters who hit me with some basic interview questions like, 'Why hire you?', 'What do you look for in a boss?', and 'Tell me about a challenge you overcame.' It felt pretty friendly and casual. A few days later, I got an email from the manager and then had to do a ton of paperwork.
