IT Business Relationship Manager
Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn, followed by a Teams call with them. After that, there were two interviews, and then an offer was extended. No technical test was required for this role, which was a welcome relief compared to other interview processes.
- Have you worked with clients in the healthcare sector?
- What is your experience with SQL statements?
Business Consultant
Steve from the company found me on LinkedIn. He was very knowledgeable and walked me through the company and Hearst. He spent time answering my questions, and then there were 2-3 (I forget) Teams video calls, followed by an offer. It was an easy process. I appreciated the candor the managers had with me about challenges and clients.
- Do you have experience with JIRA, its workflows, production support, and configuration?
- Can you provide examples of client support and supporting after-hours deployments?
Operations Manager
The whole process dragged on for over 3 months. They were really bad at getting back to me, always saying I'd hear back soon but then missing those timelines. I had two phone interviews and two in-person interviews, totaling over 4 hours. They initially told me they wanted me after the first week and even brought up salary. In the second in-person interview, I messed up a question, and the interviewer gave a wrong answer too, then lectured me on accuracy. The company even admitted to having leadership problems, and this interview process really highlighted that. Looking at reviews, it doesn't seem like things will change.
- How would you handle a client situation where continuous code fixes for their installation are required, and these fixes, in turn, block the rollout of new software installations?
Implementation Manager
I had a phone screen and then an in-person interview. The hiring manager and a colleague did the phone screen. They contacted me within a few days to schedule the face-to-face. The onsite interview lasted 2.5 hours, after regular work hours. It was split into three parts: first with the hiring manager, then the colleague had a no-show because of work, and finally, two team leads/managers interviewed me. I got a voicemail with a job offer from the hiring manager two days later. They also do a background check and drug test.
- How comfortable are you working in an unstructured environment, considering this is a newer company?
- What is your availability and willingness to travel?
- Can you describe your approach to handling demanding or difficult clients?
