Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MGT.
Senior Consultant
It was a lengthy process. First, there was a screening, then a call with two interviewers, followed by a challenging performance task. After the task, there was a debrief session for it, and finally, a call with a senior leader.
- How do you handle disagreements or different ways of doing things with coworkers?
Consultant
The interview process kicked off with a technical interview where they asked about my past work experience and my skills/strengths. This was followed by a data task, which involved using Excel to analyze provided data. Next, there was a culture interview with someone not on my direct team to assess my company interaction style. This round featured questions similar to the first one. The final round was a more casual conversation with the director, similar in tone to the first and third rounds.
- Can you tell us a little about yourself?
- What are three things your previous manager or colleagues might suggest you improve upon?
- What are you most proud of, both professionally and personally?

I had a great experience interviewing with MGT. From start to finish, there was constant communication so I always knew where I stood in the process and what to expect next. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, approachable, and genuinely interested in getting to know me. The entire process felt organized and thoughtful, and I never felt like I was left in the dark. This was honestly one of the better recruitment processes I’ve been a part of, and it left me with a very positive impression of the company and its people.
- Could you explain your interest in this role and how your background fits the requirements?
- How do your previous experiences match the responsibilities of this position?
